The Thought Field Therapy - Voice Technology Process (TFT – VT)/TFT By Phone

Step 1- I will ask you to make what appear to be contradictory statements about your problem. Your response to these statements provides me with information as to how we should begin treatment.

Step 2 - I will ask you to rate your level of distress on a scale of 1-10 while thinking of the problem. Ten is the worst; one means there is no problem. As we work, I will ask you more than once about this number. If you cannot give a number, do not be concerned about this. It is helpful but not essential.

Step 3 - I will ask you to think about the problem. Do not be concerned that you are not thinking of your problem as we work. Be assured, you are! Your focus may be a feeling in your body; it might be an intrusive image; it may be a general sense of un-ease. Simply do your best to focus on the problem in the same way throughout the treatment.

Step 4 - You will be asked to tap on particular points on your body, primarily the face and hands. As you become more familiar with the procedures, you will need less and less direction to complete the Thought Field Therapy treatment quickly. This will save you more and more time.

Step 5 - Most usually you can expect rapid relief. In many situations you should feel it immediately. Occasionally the treatment will not hold up over time. When this happens, please let me know as soon as possible so we can address this change.

Information About Thought Field Therapy Treatments Via Telephone

We will work on one problem at a time. While TFT treatments are truly remarkable, they do not treat multiple issues at the same time. We will work to keep you focused on the immediate problem being treated during our sessions.

Acupressure pointsThere are billions of Thought Field Therapy treatment combinations. These combinations consist of tapping points on the body that are tapped in various orders. Conservatively, there are about 80-90 billion possible different combinations of points which might be tapped. When I test your voice, I identify which particular combination and order of treatments you personally need for the problem being addressed at the time.

The treatments work like a combination lock. You may know all of the correct numbers, but if you don’t do them in the correct order, the lock won’t open. Similarly, the order of points to be tapped is crucial.

Some problems are more complex than others. Interestingly, the duration or severity of the problem isn’t always the reason for the complexity. Sometimes very intense, even life-long, problems can be quickly eliminated. Often, what seems like one problem may actually be a number of separate problems. As we work together, we will have a better sense of how long it will take for you to feel better.

Longstanding Phobia Relieved in 10 Minutes

“Several years ago, Dr. Lois Sugarman rescued me from a nearly 60 year fear of birds. Her calm, caring, and non-invasive approach, Thought Field Therapy (TFT), to my long standing phobia took about ten minutes. Since that one session with Dr. Sugarman I can be outside without constantly looking to see if there are any birds around and without ducking if there are.

I had always had a tremendous fear of attack which often caused pressure in my chest and heart palpitations. I do enjoy being outdoors where birds fly freely. Since that experience with TFT, I can take pleasure knowing that I no longer have to live in fear of our fine feathered friends. Again, I credit Dr. Sugarman and her professional knowledge of TFT with eradicating my fear of birds which has allowed me to enjoy life to the fullest. Thank you Dr. Sugarman!!

Accurate reporting of how you are feeling is essential. You are the expert on how you are feeling, as we begin treatment and throughout. It is important that you tell me exactly how you are feeling. Your self-reports are the primary guide showing us how we should progress through the process of treatment. One goal in Thought Field Therapy is to reach the point where you feel comfortable and confident enough to test out in reality your response to the issue that, prior to treatment, caused you distress.

Occasionally ordinary substances can interfere with treatment. When a successfully treated problem returns, something you have ingested or a substance to which you have exposed your body can cause the treatment to break down. Common offenders can include nicotine, wheat, corn, sugar, laundry products, dry cleaning fluids, and the like. Some people just seem to be more sensitive to these substances than other people. This sensitivity is a different matter than allergies.

You will never be advised to stop taking medically prescribed medications. It is possible to treat you with Thought Field Therapy whether or not you are taking medication.
